We here at Bury Gateway are always on the lookout for volunteers to help us in our quest to make a difference. Bury Gateway works with people who have learning disabilities and helps them gain confidence and self esteem.

What we can do for you!

Would you like to get out and about? Widen your experience of life? Want a chance to really make a difference to someones life? A chance to visit places you might not otherwise go?

All out of pocket expenses paid!

Don't think you know how? Don't worry, we offer training for volunteers, by professionals.

What you can do for us!

We need volunteers to help plan trips out and assist with our Support Groups. If that doesn't appeal, we also need help at our weekly social evening, just to sit and chat to our members, maybe encourage them to partake in our other activities. There are many varied roles within our Centre, we're sure we can find you something you'd like to do if you can spare us a little of your time.
